Huawei E220 unlock update Firmware download drivers

    I am getting this error:
    hardware failure in the modem.
    this is after upgrading the firmware from
    11.117.09.05.00
    to
    11.313.02.00.01

    What can I do?

    Hi

    I'm using the vodafone e220(generic dashboard) on a different network which uses the 900Mhz spectrum. I've heard that the e220 works on a different spectrum, so I would like to know if there is a firmware for the e220 that would make it work at 900Mhz. please reply to maheshjina@yahoo.com

    that is because the file ends with 01 which means it is locked to a network-it should end with 00 to work with any network.

    @Frank Edem,
    What is your device model?I suggest you can get the permanent unlock code for your's from Theunlockspot.com and remove the network lock easily.
